We are here

Just a quick note to record our first Saturday in Rarotonga and let everyone know we have arrived here safely.

We arrived here safe and sound on Friday morning 22nd of June and were picked up from the airport by Roger, the pharmacist Chris has come here to replace. Roger drove us to our accommodation for the next week a very pleasant hotel on the northeastern side of the island called Club Raro. Thanks to Chris’s new boss, Trevor, we were treated to the premier sea-view rooms. From the deck there are 180-degree unobstructed sea views, very nice.

I can't see our house from here

Having learned that our house is located ten minutes from the main township, on the Northern part of Rarotonga I thought I would explore Google maps and zoom in from the satellite image and check out our new home.

Unfortunately the satellite image only zooms in to a few kilometres above Rarotonga and all I can make out is the airstrip...
